The Dyson Group

This Melbourne based bus and coach company chose NB Passenger Seating when it wanted to install ultra-lightweight seating, to reduce costs and CO2 emissions. In addition to fuel savings, Dyson’s wanted to move away from having the high maintenance overhead of foam seats, but still retain passenger comfort. They selected NB Passenger Seating’s 8MA seat and flip seats, which have now been installed in over 100 of their 400+ fleet, with a continuing rolling program for new requirements.

Cranbourne Transit

Cranbourne Transit chose NB Passenger Seating for the fit out of new fleet of buses, selecting an aluminium framed product for strength, ease of upholstering and low maintenance. Thirty buses have been fitted out to date with more in plan. Their future business strategy includes generating revenue from seat advertising, so they specifically selected a seat that can take large advertising pockets on the back.

Werribee Open Range Zoo

Werribee Open Range Zoo takes visitors on a ‘safari’ to see its wild animals, using six three-carriage, 150-seat passenger vehicles. They wanted to have a colour scheme to tie in with the African savannah feel, and, as the vehicle has a roof, but no windows, seating that could simply be hosed down when incoming dust settled.

They selected NB Passenger Seating’s MX seat and flip seat in orange, with the same colour used on the grab handles and frame for a washable, savannah-themed safari bus.
